The Karpagam Charity Trust was founded in 1989 with an intention to provide excellent education to children of the area and also catering to the needs of the society in general through charitable deeds.

Karpagam Arts and Science College which blossomed in the year 1995, is situated 10 kms from Coimbatore on the junction of Coimbatore - Pollachi Highway. Within 9 years it has progressed into an institution par excellence. It is one of the youngest colleges in India to have been accredited with B+ by NAAC. The sole aim of the institution is to impart quality education and prepare students to face global competition. It offers 10 Under graduate and 12 Post Graduate Courses.

Karpagam Polytechnic College was started in October 1998 with the sole aim of affording the opportunity to young men and women to equip themselves for employment. Excellent infrastructural and training facilities support the job-oriented courses at Karpagam Polytechnic College. It offers five Diploma Courses.

Karpagam College of Engineering started in the year 2000 - 01 has been promoted with the sole aim of imparting technical and managerial skills of high caliber to the students through the latest teaching methods. It is endowed with excellent infrastructure and a dedicated team of faculty members to train students to meet the growing needs of the society. If offers five Engineering courses and two Post Graduate Courses.

KARPAGAM MATRICULATION SCHOOL is another milestone. This School is to be commenced with the valuable motto of providing education for all. It is to be situated in a sprawling campus owned by Karpagam Charity Trust. The infrastructure facilities like classrooms conducive for learning, playground to develop the sports activities and well qualified staff members to impart quality education will be provided. Application forms for admission to Pre-KG, LKG to VI Class of Karpagam Matriculation School for the academic year 2004 - 2005 will be issued by 14.04.2004 ( Wednesday) in the office. Children seeking admission for LKG should be above 3 years of age as on 31.07.2004. The medium of instruction is English. Transport facility is available. Limited number of seats, selection will be made on first come, first served basis. We are delighted to inform you that Pre-KG is being run in a friendly atmosphere using play way method of teaching, whereby children get accustomed to school easily.
